But don't go on a "digging expedition." We don't have to try to "figure ourselves out." The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth (See John 16:13). It is a progressive work, so be patient and let God take the lead.

But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God). Galatians 5:16

Don't hesitate to begin because it seems to you that you have a long way to go. It is better to spend your life moving in the right direction one step at a time than to have no direction at all. No matter what your problems may be, things can get better with God's help.

Take the helm and sail your own ship. Don't just get into the boat with nobody at the helm and merely hope that the waves of life take you somewhere good.

God is willing to meet you where you are and help you get to where you need to be. That is the good news of the Gospel!

Ordinary people can do extraordinary things if they apply the proper guidelines to their lives.

God will always give you the strength to do the things He calls you to do and live the life He's purposed for you to live.

The closer you get to the Lord, the more you see that He has to be your Source in all things. He

you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

God will always show us the right thing to do. He will even give us the grace (ability) to do it.
